It occurred to me recently that the School of Arts and Sciences is the only program at this university that lacks the name of a wealthy donor. If I were giving a tour of the campus, I would say...
"You'll notice that the School of Arts and Sciences is the only one unaffiliated with a prestigious patron, thus denying its students and faculty that extra oomph of grandeur--that is, not that they need it, anyway...but I digress. Past suggestions by faculty of the schools with names-upon-thars have included the 'Catchall School of Arts, Sciences, and the Rest of It', as well as the 'Ivory Tower School of Comparatively Dubious Practicality.' However, many have found the lack of association to wealth highly relevant to this particular program..."

Justification
As if our society weren't egocentric enough, here's my contribution of another personal blog to tip the scale even further toward I Me Mine. Even if you do read, or even--no, it can't be--like reading any of this junk, I really want to hear from YOU instead.
